1957

In 1956 Vedova partecipates in the 28th Venice Biennale with a solo show.
In the same year he detaches himself from the Italian Communist Party.
Spends the winter of 1956/1957 in the mountains on another intense working retreat, returning to Venice only in June. Leaves his old studio to move to a new apartment near the Salute Church, at Dorsoduro 46, where he will live for the rest of his life. In 1957, goes to Berlin for the first time for one man show at the Galerie Springer.
